I don't know exactly how you decide who gets to deliver the swats but under NO circumstances should Kyle be allowed the satisfaction of being allowed to swat your butt after today's game. What you need to do from here with respect to the other night is reflect on it; kind of like reviewing the game films. There are lessons to be learned here. One possibility is that you may have been too focused on what Kyle's dad was going to do rather than on what you needed to do. Another is that maybe you should examine your approach. (A couple of examples right here on this forum: see my comments that I directed to your dad in the thread about Senior Skip Day and also my reply to Steve in this thread.) This might be the first time you have confronted an adult about an issue but it won't be the last.

Comments like that are precisely why I consider you a role model and a man of great character. It is time to show the world that same man. Going forward, don't let Kyle get the better of you. That is why you should greet them warmly today. You are going to be OK; no matter how much bragging Kyle does to the team about how your dad was wrong and how his dad righted the wrong. You can rise above that.
