Hey Joel. I am glad you have never had a ticket and I hope you never do. You don't want to be a member of that club as Luke and I are.

Not that it is any excuse, but the day I got mine I was having a really bad day and I was barrelling along at 75 mph and the cop had me at 76 so at least I know my speedometer was fairly accurate. However the speed limit was 55 so I knew I wasn't going to get any kind of a break whatsoever. Man, I was REALLY shaking and I was still shaking after the cop let me go. I think even the cop who stopped me felt a little sorry for me that day. He was telling me that it'll be OK; that it is just one ticket in 20 years. I think he could tell that I felt really bad about the whole thing and maybe he even felt a little guilty about having to give me that first ticket.
