Hey Zack and Spence

I'm answering your posts together since it seems like identical questions or points raised.

First off whats all this babbling about Speed Traps? Like they are 'tricking' people. As you may know I'm an attorney. Speed Traps are legal and an effective way for police to catch drivers who are speeding. Simple solution--slow down and don't speed and you'll be fine. Holiday weekends always bring out MORE speed traps. None of this talk about speed traps will be helpful to Luke. I have advised Luke in seperate posts how to handle this with traffic school.

Now I'll address why Joel should be punished. I'm speaking now as a dad of 5 boys. IF I did not want one of my sons driving late at night, I certainly would NOT want someone EVEN younger (Luke) with less experience driving. That is most definately a step DOWN. Joel has even admitted that IF he had driven he would not be speeding. So Joel used poor judgment allowing Luke to drive and be his 'chaffeur' (Joel's words in an earlier post.)

Steve
