I just got home from the hospital Sat., Jan. 30 and saw your message that you have not given up on me yet.
Thanks Dave, and to Rick and Steve, too!

Alot of what happened to me for the hospital stay Kyle listed elsewhere for you,Rick, Steve to read: JOEL & LUKE RECOVERING FROM FLU, THURS. 1-28-20l0, you can read, but I'd like to address this post.

Thanks for giving me another chance! I know it sounds like a broken record, but I guess I get at least three chances before I'm dropped by everyone?
That's not a depression statement, but usually a guy gets three chances before he's given up or really HAS to beg!
Thanks for forgiving me! I acted like an ASS and will try to do better, really!
I will not try to discipline a buddy, then can go to their dad or coach for an ass chewing or paddling, but I will speak my mind to them first to have my say and then tell them to go to the right person for discipline!
Your right Dave, I have not stopped at just wanting my dad to give me the first paddling. When I need another one I expect to get one.
I wanted to talk to my dad, and possibly see that maybe the slate could wiped more cleaner, and make me feel better to maybe get a paddling from my dad, if he agreed to, I wanted to tell about the recent things of happening with Luke, the jerk at McDonalds trying to pick a fight, etc. and if a paddling might keep me more in line then so be it.
I wanted to talk to dad after we got home from the hospital, but I caught him at a wrong time as he had to get ready to leave for a couple of days for a business trip, so I guess I'll have to wait.
I started to talk to talk to him about something else, I wasn't pestering him, but he got teed-off and I'm surprised I didn't get more then a quick butt-chewing like I did. I guess I should have asked to trade it off for a paddling, but things happened quick!

You sure make a guy feel good, from the great comments you mentioned,especially after I got sick and thrown into the hospital. I still think that was a WAKEUP CALL FROM GOD for my wrong actions/attitude from that Friday night building into Saturday and then come Monday and my sorry butt had to be declared to go for help in the hospital. I had alot of time to think about things and I"ll rededicate myself to be the OLD JOEL everyone likes. If I screw up I'll ask and take I should get, an ass chewing or paddling or both!
I wouldn't be upset if SEan, Luke and Kyle had themselves into a mess and each had to see their dad or coach for discipline-be it an ass chewing or paddling to them!
I should have told Luke to go see Coach and not handle things like I did, including later paddling him! He knows that now!
Dave, YOU ARE going to make a good dad someday from your handling of the situation with me. I guess I'm a good person to practice one, and so far you are doing an A+ job. Didn't think you would be doing school work again, in a way did you?
I will try t be the honorable person you, Rick & Steve have come to know be to be! And set an example and try to lead the others. I didn't have the chance being in the hospital last week and the hoop team lost two games without my services, so will try to help turn the season around!
Glad I am making you proud of me still. YOU MAKE BE PROUD TO BE MY BIG BROTHER, and that goes for RICK & STEVE, too. I value everyone's opinion and advice. I sure don't act like it somtimes and give the wrong impression lately, sorry about that.
So let's clean the slate for Joel and move on! Glad everyone is NOT disappointed or ashamed of me!
I don't think I was feeling sorry for myself, but you guys are a better judge to that then me, so SORRY!
Let's see what the coming days have...

So yeah, let's see some action from Joel, I'll do my BEST or I know I'll get another deserved ass chewing again.
