Joel, dude that was totally uncalled for unless there was something you left out about your attitude or bragging or a joke or prank with drugs that teed off your grandpa. Not my place to put him down but he was totally off base.

Where was your mom & dad & why did they let this happen? You now know what a real ass whipping feels like and from nothing less than a strap.

You're a noble young man Joel to say what you just said. I want you to know I have more respect for you now, always did dude, than even before.

That's cool and just what you should do. I'll make sure Dave sees this too. He's out right now with Mollie. We saw our grandparents off this afternoon so our routine is getting back a bit more normal. Was a great Thanksgiving though. I bet if you ask, Dave would call off his challenge since your grandpa did this. This is more than you need for awhile even at 17. Think you & grandpa might talk later about this? It suck!!
