Joe-my parents believed that it was best for me to get a hand spanking over their lap, instead of a seat smack to my butt to learn from when I messed up. I rarely got a seat smack.
I was first introduced to the paddle when I was about in the 5th grade. My parents believe when a boy misbehaved that it was best to get to the seat of the problem, namely baring my butt to get it paddled. I wished I could have kept my pants on, but I guess they thought I would learn more getting my bare butt warmed up, and an how did they warm it up while I was growing.
I got the paddle up to pre-high school and then dad would decided what I needed the most for a punishment correction for being bad, sometimes I would still get the paddle on my bare butt or if he thought I needed a little bit more of an attention getter it would be the belt on my bare butt, still even today.
For paddlings I would go over dad's knee after he ordered me to drop my jeans and pull down my underpants. Then he'd give me the "hotseat" until he thought I had learned my lesson. I didn't get paddlings alot, but my fair share I guess.
I started getting dad's belt used on my high school butt when I messed up. Routine was after a lecture why I was getting whipped I'd have to drop my jeans and pulldown my underpants and then bend over the edge of bed while dad unbuckled his belt. I hate waiting, and lots of the time dad snaps the belt into the air to let me know its coming. Depending on what rule I broke I can expect about l0 to l5 licks to my butt. Man it stings like crazy!
I've had my share of school paddlings from grade/middle and now in high school for disrespect to teachers, fighting with other students, once I skipped classes and most recently last year I took paddling to avoid a school detention, which I hate detention.
I'm a senior with buddies and Joel and Kyle. Two awesome dudes to play football with and other sports!
Sometimes I had to take a note home and me and dad would have our session in my room to continue another butt "roasting" after the principal I thought early had done a good enough job.
I have been lucky a few times not to take notes home after principal paddled me, too.
I'm not a bad kid, just make bad choices sometimes.
Do you or did you get paddlings in school and at home when you needed them from your principal and dad?
Oh, yeah my mom when I was younger gave me spankings, but when I got older mid-grade school she thought my dad could do a better job on my butt, which he did and has continued to do so.
Luckly it has been a few months since I got my last paddling, but with "football paddling bets" now that are happening I don't mind taking them as they will help me to become a better player and quarterback.
