SEAN, WAS THIS AT SCHOOL IN 5TH GRADE OR HOME? IF HOME, WAS IT A PADDLE DAD MADE OR IMPROVISE USING LIKE A KID'S PADDLE BALL TOY, TABLE TENNIS PADDLE, BACK OF A BRUSH ETC.?
sometimes I would still get the paddle on my bare butt or if he thought I needed a little bit more of an attention getter it would be the belt on my bare butt
WHAT DO YOU RECALL ABOUT THE FIRST TIME YOUR DAD TOLD YOU IT WAS GOING BE THE BELT OR DID YOU GET SHOCKED JUST SEEING HIM HOLDING A BELT RATHER THAN THE PADDLE OR HIM UNBUCKLE AND START TO REMOVE A BELT HE WAS WEARING?

WAS THIS WITH DAD PROPPING HIS FOOT ON SOMETHING OR HIS LEG AND BENT KNEE WAS ELEVATED FOR YOU TO LEAN OVER...OR DID HE ACTUAL SIT DOWN AND LAY YOU OVER HIS LAP? DID HE EXPECT YOU TO JUST EXPOSE BUT BUTT OR TAKE JEANS AND UNDERPANTS DOWN TO THE FLOOR? YOU EVER HESITATE OR DAD JUST SO UPSET WITH YOU THAT HE GRABBED THE WAISTBAND, UNDID YOUR JEANS TAKING THEM AND SKIVVIES DOWN HIMSELF?
I hate waiting, and lots of the time dad snaps the belt into the air to let me know its coming. Depending on what rule I broke I can expect about l0 to l5 licks to my butt. Man it stings like crazy!
I RECALL MY DAD THE 'BELT SNAP' TOO. I KNEW WAITING A WHIPPING WAS LIKELY BUT THE SNAP ADDED ANOTHER SHIVER TO MY BUTT. MY DAD DID 10-15 WITH ME TOO AS A TEEN EXCEPT THE 2 TIMES I GOT THE STRAP WHIPPING AND THOSE I DID NOT COUNT. MY MOM USED THE 'GO TO YOUR ROOM AND WAIT FOR DAD' ROUTINE. THAT COULD BE 2-3 HOURS OF SITTING ANTICIPATING. YOU EVER GET THAT TREATMENT?

WAS THE FIGHT AND SKIPPING BOTH IN HS OR WHEN YOUNGER? WAS THE FIGHT YOUR FAULT OR AS WITH OUR PRINCIPAL, BOTH BOYS GOT TAKEN TO THE OFFICE AND PADDLED? HOW WAS THE SKIPPING CLASSES CAUGHT AND WERE YOU ALONE OR CUT WITH YOUR FRIENDS? YOUR DAD GIVE YOU THE BELT ON TOP OF THE PRINCIPAL'S PADDLE FOR SKIPPING?

YEP, MOM AND DAD PROMISED ME WHAT WOULD HAPPEN WHEN I GOT HOME IF I GOT IN TROUBLE IN SCHOOL AND CARRIED THROUGH. IT WAS 4TH OR 5TH GRADE INTO HS. I'M 25 NOW, SO THOSE SWATS ARE PAST HISTORY BUT STILL RECALL WHAT A WOOD PADDLE WITH HOLES FELT LIKE OVER A BENT OVER, POCKETS EMPTY, SNUG PAIR OF LEVIS AND DAD SELDOM KEPT JEANS OR SKIVVIES BETWEEN MY BOTTOM AND HIS HAND/PADDLE/BELT AT HOME.
