Luke, that was an awesome gesture. Doubt they would think you nuts. You gave your all (or at least your butt) for your buddies & team. Dad usually do the paddle with you leaning over his leg (presume its his leg elevated & bent at knee since at 17 you'd be too tall to lay over his lap)?

Does the paddle have an influence in adjusting your attitude still or by 17, you're an old pro & its a ritual routine? Dad ever need to take leather to your hide? Mind saying what got the weekend grounding?
