Ooh. Something wrong with the father of creepy boy? Pfft. That was a no brainier. Creepy boy's fault. Or maybe creepy mother of creepy boy- but that wasn't fair. Maybe the son was just a screwball. The only problem remained in what kind of trouble he was in. Parking ticket trouble? Car crash trouble? My wife caught me philandering trouble? Knowing him, all three at once. Caught with another woman after crashing his car and getting a ticket for leaving it there. Yesssirreee.

Did'ya try calling him? He might not be too caught up that he can't, you know, answer. Tarot's mind instantly flickered to the ring she'd give him. If he was a useful immortal, he'd know the significance. He could wish himself out of any peril he chose. All that you needed was half a brain to say it out loud. Preferably the half that controlled functions like that. He's not yet dead, if that's your worry.

Was it time to offer to help the girlie? Little sprite of a thing that she was, the child had good intentions. (Don't get your panties in a bunch; I'm old enough to be your grandmother). Mental head pat for her.

Or the wife. The wife allllwayys knows. Giggle. Giggle giggle.
