There is a lot of construction around the area of the VFW. If you are coming from HWY 80 heading East you will be forced to exit at FM-548 and take a detour. Follow the signs that take you back on to FM-548. The VFW is actually on FM-1641. When you cross the RR tracks stay straight and proceed through the light. The VFW will be down on your left next to the Country Smokehouse. If you are coming from any other direction you should be ok until 8:00 PM. At 8:00 they are closing the bridge under HWY-80 and FM-548. -- 5 Second Old School Backhalf Shootout
