Ever have a moment where you feel like you’ve suddenly gotten away with some wicked deed and won major? Oh yes. Lucian totally felt like jumping up and down, rubbing his hands together going MWAHAHAHAHA as Zeth hit the ground and the glass shattered against the floor. Unfortunately, Lucian had very good self control and no one would be seeing his evil little happy dance.

Pulling at enchanted threads, the trapdoor opened to the left of Zeth’s collapsed figure… where he should have fallen through had the oaf bothered to cooperate. But noooo… he just had to force Lucian’s hand and to drug him. It was never Lucian’s fault… ever. Dark tentacles reached out from the trap door, dragging his father’s limp figure into the cellar as Lucian motioned for one of the enslaved brownies to clean up the mess and cleanse the bar of Zeth’s presence… from scent to energy.
