She couldn't believe it was real, not till his arms were around her, encircling her, and holding her tight. Indeed they were the yang to one's ying and vice versa. Mix matched eyes - one green the other blue - squeezed shut to keep the frivolous and very embarrassing tears at bay as she felt the anxiety and worry of seconds ago fade and evaporate into thin air.

His cheek, smooth with barely a hint of whiskers, brushed against her own. Firm yet gentle lips brushing flesh as he nudged her and nuzzled her away from his wrinkled - and now slightly damp - dress shirt. A quick rub against the finally tailor fabric and she pulled away lush lips pink in hue and silky smooth pulling away to reveal a row of perfect teeth that accompanied and accented her elated smile. "Always." The only word that came to her mind.

No questions about the photo-shoot or how the sales pitch for the new column had gone, or rather he and Ashena would be leaving again soon. At this exact moment all she could think about - or wished to think about - was him. Her husband, her lover, her Zeth. Head completely lifted, tilted just right, Alicia smiled a little more coy than earlier. "I love you." She meant it - 100% - and then some.
