Well, since we always watch our puppies so closely and can tell immediately who is the dominant, who is the middle of the road, who is the lovey dovey etc I thought there would be no need to formalize such a thing but after having a puppy returned (oh,yes, there is a god!!)we decided to go with the Volhard system and have everything in writing now for proof of testing for the owners for every pup that leaves us.That in itself is no concrete evidence that the pup will always stay like that but it is an INDICATION of the future development of that pup and we shall always use it,we tend to use multiple BB owners as the testers and dependant on the size of the litter we may use either 2 or 4 testers.

Regarding the ATTS,I LOVE this test and think it is well worthwhile going through it.

For an opinion on the Volhard,Kimberley might have an input here as we sent her the tests of the two males that I really thought were good for her and she used these to help make her decision on what pup to choose and only Kim can tell how close the results were to how Bear has actually turned out.
