This is only a question and no need at all for anyone to get worked up over it. For the last several months, our Miss DE has lit up the voy board. Many, many positive things said about her, and rightfully so. She was on so many top 15 lists. Today, she was bashed for her swimsuit. Some believing that it will keep her out of the top 15. I am only asking....is Miss DE's swimsuit presentation as good as it was when she won in June. PLEASE. I am only asking. I believe she will win QOL and be a top 15. Just wondering how she feel out of grace.

I wouldn't pay the other posters on voy boards any mind. Kayla is a highly capable young woman and I'm sure she looked fabulous. Her strength, courage, and beauty will get her far in the competition. Not worried.15:21:52 01/12/11 Wed
I think she looked fantastic in videos and photos. Plus friends who are in Vegas talked about how her evening gown was the best and how she had great energy. My greatest concern comes tonight - talent. Praying that she gives her all and that her preparation and hours in the dance studio pay off. If she can't sell it in talent it will be hard to make the cut. No amount of audience interaction and flashy music will hide a poorly performed routine.sending good vibes to LV16:42:31 01/12/11 Wed

DE: here is an outsider's take. I was cheering her on since she won. Love her story and her strength. Never saw her in person until prelims. She was so badly advised on clothing. But sadly, the biggest crime is her wigs. They scream wig. You notice the wig before you notice the girl. WHY did this happen? If she is going to wear one (which I would have loved her not to), she should have gotten one that looks good onstage under lights (see Nebraska)IMO15:57:20 01/14/11 Fri
God Bless Miss DEMom in Ky (:))03:58:11 01/16/11 Sun
Loved her competition EG. who designed it?fan06:43:44 01/26/11 Wed
Her overall wardrobe was outstanding at Miss America. I thought her hair, body etc was better at state. I thought she was more toned, tan and her hair wasn't as overly full looking like at Miss A. Such a beautiful person inside and out.starsandstripes10:08:35 01/26/11 Wed
Kayla did look great. She played the game to be competitive. I am not necessarily convinced she stayed true to herself but at least she achieved a goal and put DE on the map again!proud22:37:11 01/26/11 Wed
