I am a local director who offers my titleholder a great deal of support, but will never help with ad pages..for this reason...I need to keep potential sponsors for my local so that my program continues when current titleholder is gone. It is disheartening to hear the ladies compete either for big money locals or ones where there are no committments...and I have heard such conversations. We as directors raise every penny of scholarship given, we are volunteers and have families and lives and jobs. We need to appreciate one another . I very often give out of my own pocket . I am also the parent of a former..

and this was while she attended college and gained her master's degree...this program for whatever it offers is a platform for growth...if a director does not offer the support you need, find it within work on yourself...as young women it is possible to gain much form the program without a certain kind of support from director. while it would be nice to have a director to do everything for you I don't think it's realistic especially when it comes to ad's that is part of your responsibility and your way of earning the scholarship money that has been rewarded to you. (NT) -- No name, 06:21:29 02/07/13 Thu
