Safer? In what sense? God forbid the girls get any criticism whatsoever. As for FB, as has been mentioned numerous times, there different FB pages, including Megan's private one where she chooses to post photos of her year not available to the public. Megan has an air about her that is just very peaceful...I am sure she rises above the drama that takes place here, which is something that is very had to do..she is representing so well, why should she feel she has to open herself up for criticism by people who just want something to criticize or are not yet over their experience..whatever that may have been. Actually, when you're Miss State, you're a representative of the state and the face for the organization you're representing. So yes, she does need to share, which she is.
