The Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program is delighted to welcome back Jamie Staton, Sports Director and weekday Sports Anchor for WMUR- TV, New Hampshire's ABC affiliate, as host of the 2013 competition. This will be Jamie's 7th year in the role. Glad you are back on board, Jamie!! (P.S. - BIG Announcement coming later in the week. You will want to hear this!!!)

I think the directors hold a lot of influence on the girls that compete. The girls are the biggest part, but I think some of the directors have figured out what works, and whats going to make their girl advanced, and on a side note some of the directors in the miss nh program are not so great..... The dance routines were so complicated the girls couldn't do them. The microphones didn't work, the music stopped in the middle of routines and agreed, it was not well done. Should have made it clean and simple. Should also be a one day event. Two days is just way too much of the same thing. Most states do 1 day. No offense... but why would a contestant take advice from strangers? Would someone really go to Sam and say "Hey Sam, someone said you should do this on the voy board!"
