Subject: Blah, blah, blah. I'm not the poster you're talking to, but I'm so sick of the attitude that the girl should just go to have fun. Bull! Megan IS a Miss America. She has every single thing it takes and she is much more qualified than the majority of the girls there. What I'm feeling and I bet a lot of people are feeling is frustration that when our girls are here, they're fabulous! They always look the part. Then they go to Miss America and it's as if they were sponsored by the Ugly Clothes Store and their style goes completely out the window. They come home empty-handed when we know damn well they could have given them a run for the roses if their wardrobe had been more stylish

In reply to: 's message, "Also...by saying the point is to go to win..is a very amateur statement. Winning is fantastic...and everyone does the very best they can do and its a focus, but it is NOT the overall "point" of this opportunity. It is VERY niave to have that kind of view of the program, and my opinion is that at this juncture in the experience if you are not saying something positive and helpful, it is just blabber..and luckily those of us in the know...KNOW to scroll on by." on 09:05:36 01/05/13 Sat

THANK YOU. I'm the poster of the "you go to win comment" and completely agree with you. It is very frustrating and that's what I was saying. I'm willing to be if you ask any one of those girls if thy want to win they will all say yes! Of course they do! Is it an honor to make it to the national pageant? A complete honor, however, the dream is to be Miss America, not 1st runner up. (NT)No name14:32:54 01/05/13 Sat
