Okay at state and internationals we looked at getting Madelynn a jacket for the fall/winter but they were all so big. Is there another source? She wears a 2T/3T and the XS just hung off of her. I am sure I have seen the babies have them just not sure where to get it. I also know it is August and HOT but I just wanted to be prepared.

It is time to kickoff our new season with Texas Cinderella, but before I do, I just realized that results from
Internationals never got posted. I have to apologize for not getting these up sooner. TEAM TEXAS rocked at Internationals this year bringing home a RECORD 17 crowns and titles and so many special awards and placements. I am so proud of all of you and your accomplishments this year. Amanda, I'm very sorry but I did not receive any emails from you. Did you double check the address you sent them to? With so many Cinderella girls, it was really only feasible to receive 3-5 pictures from each person. I also had a deadline of Sept. 1st to meet to have the slideshow ready, so I didn't plan to accept pictures after that time, but if you will send 1 to 3 of your pictures to my personal email address I will try to work at least 1 of them into the slideshow sometime soon. Our 2010-11 Ambassador Program will get kicked off September 1, 2010.

The Ambassador Program is designed to recognize our Cinderella girls who attend Cinderella events, parades, volunteer/community service work and charity type work. For each event, points are earned and the top young ladies earning the most points throughout the year will be announced and rewarded at our State Finals. In order to be eligible, you must attend the State Pageant. Points must be turned in quarterly along with a brief description and photo of the event. Cinderella crowns and banners must be worn to earn points, as you are representing your Cinderella title and acting as a spokesperson for our program. This program is open to all Cinderella Girls, Tot Woman, in the state of Texas who are active participants in the program. Korra Kavanaugh, our 2010 reigning Texas State Ambassador is not eligible to participate this year, for she will be representing her title throughout the year. Our Overall Royalty is also not eligible to participate in this year’s Ambassador Program.

The 2010-11 rules are as follows:
1. You must sign in at every Cinderella prelim in order to qualify for that event's points. It is up to you to turn in your points for that event, not the preliminary director.
2. Points and photos must be turned in to the state office quarterly in order to receive credit. This can be emailed put Ambassador and your daughter’s name in the subject line.
3. Cinderella preliminaries or any scheduled Cinderella event (Halloween Party, Christmas Party, group fundraiser, etc.) are worth 1 point.
4. Participation in a parade is worth 2 points.
5. Appearances at a nursing home or food bank are worth 2 points.
6. Volunteering at any charitable event or community organization is worth 3 points.
7. Points are at the discretion of the state director.
Titles will be awarded to the Top 2 finishers with others being recognized at the Welcome Banquet. The number of participants recognized will be at the discretion of the director.
The Ambassador Princess – (1st runner up) will receive 100.00 in cash onstage at the Welcome Banquet, round crown and satin monogrammed banner.
The State Ambassador (winner) will receive 200.00 in cash onstage, a round crown, a satin monogrammed banner and spend the year reigning as our new Texas State Ambassador.

Come join the fun and learn the importance of giving back to your communities! Start earning those points as you try and become this year’s State Ambassador and Ambassador Princess.

You have asked about the cruise - and I have listened. The state office has been working with our travel agency and have two options for our Cinderella Families to vote on this year. After reviewing everyone's post from the past few weeks, it seems as if January or February won out on the time of year. Take a look at the options below and respond either here or on our Facebook page by Sunday. Polls will close Sunday evening and then the official date will be announced.

Option 1 - 5 day Cruise - Leaving January 17 - Return January 22. (Jan. 17th is MLK day so most schools are out) Gives us 1 extra day in a port - Progresso, Mexico, but will sail during the week. Not sure about school, but prices are less than the 4 day option.
Inside Double - 375.00 pp, Triple - 305.00, Quad - 270.00, Quint - 247.00
Ocean Double - 415.00 pp, Triple - 340.00, Quad - 300.00, Quint - 275.00

Option 2 - 4 day Cruise - Leaving February 10 - Return February 14.

The Miss Cypress Organization Little Miss Competition is for young ladies (ages 0 – 12). We want our Little Misses to be involved! The Mini Title Holders will have the opportunity as provided by the local pageant director and local titleholder to be a part of the titleholder's year. The various community activities and community service projects that the titleholders will be involved in will be at your discretion for your daughter's involvement (age permitting). Your daughter's level of involvement is up to you but highly recommended as it will garner a sense of community outreach and service in your child.

Each mini titleholder will receive a crown, sash, and recognition the night of the local Outstanding Teen and Miss competition. Able Titleholders will also be on stage to escort contestants during the evening gown competition.

Little Miss Contestants will compete in Party Wear and Onstage introduction only to be eligible for one of 6 Little Miss Titles. Party Wear is considered Sunday, Holiday, or Easter Style Dress. Think a clean and elegant look. NO PAGEANT ATTIRE REQUIRED! If you have any questions, please contact us as overly elaborate or glitz clothing will cause a deduction in points.

Side Events will be Best of Awards, Photogenic, and Talent. All are available at an extra charge and ARE NOT required to win the title. They are only to give your daughter an extra chance to go home with a Prize.

I don't know who creates the settings...however, if you are looking at any other pages (such as photos, royalty, etc) on the Cinderella website (other than the front page) and then decide to go to the message board, it goes to the old board. Effective immediately, this will be our new "official" Message Board for all Texas Cinderella related news and events. The old board was constantly being "hacked" into, so I thought a new board that I can control better would be the answer. Please spread the word that Texas Cinderella has a new voyforum, and encourage everyone to come and see us often. Our website is being updated daily, with new royalty photos, preliminary dates and other news, so check that too. Our Kickoff Pageant has been scheduled for September 26th in Houston - a banner will be posted soon with all the info! I hope everyone is having a great summer and we will see you at Kickoff in September!
