Author: Who needs democracy when one person knows what’s right for everyone!
Subject: A business ran as a ‘democracy’, with people who pay to be part of a democracy. More inside

My ‘stupidity’ is simply about pointing out the hypocrisy of this ‘democratic organisation.’ An organisation that claims to have democratic structures while outwardly ignoring their own protocols at meetings, failing to deliver any transparency at all to their members, and failing to let them vote on matters that should be voted on.
A business will hire CEO’s, consultants and boards of directors that consist of highly skilled and knowledgeable people. My point is, we have people in charge who are outdated, have not contributed to an chomh in YEARS. They give an chomh no revenue whatsoever because they have no dancers. Therefore how can we expect people who are not active members to make decisions that impact everyone but them. It’s absurd. It’s the equivalent of putting these people in charge of the GAA. They might have an idea of how it should be ran, but it’s impossible for them to provide the best quality of care to their members because they quite simply do not have a clue.

So above poster, I apologise for being so stupid! Thanks for pointing it out to me. Nothing screams strong leadership like people terrified of free speech and fair voting systems!
