Yes it’s a decent venue but it is absolutely freezing in it, it’s so uncomfortable . Judges sat with coats on all wkend as did the audience, even seen people bring their own blankets . There are plenty of places in Derry city that could be used. A massive amount of community halls and schools there is no reason to have them all out in that freezing hall it is ridiculous (NT) -- Dm, Tue, Mar 05 2024, 11:05:29

Yes there is a lot of halls and venues in Derry and Donegal but the venues would not be big enough to cater for the numbers for a Feis (NT) -- In the Know, Tue, Mar 05 2024, 11:28:45

Shantallows new centre is massive compared to claudy and they have a few halls/rooms. Their main hall is definitely bigger than claudys main hall. It would be a much better venue (NT) -- Mm, Tue, Mar 05 2024, 22:00:51

- I was at a CLRG feis in the shantallow community centre and there didn't seem to be any issues with seating? There wad plenty of room to move about also. No idea why they have to be stuck to Claudy unless they're getting it at a cheaper price. (NT) -- TM, Wed, Mar 06 2024, 7:55:36
