Author: Fio (Think about the child)
Subject: No one in our school dances worlds unless they placed in both rounds of leinsters. I know other schools who do same. Prelim is for prelim. If you are not placing in prelim regions then take the time in prelim before moving on. Worlds needs qualifiers. Certainly wouldn't put my child into the lions den of scrutiny on a world stage. Worse now with feis tv. The dancer will get there when the time is right.
In reply to: DM 's message, "Ive read the rules around Prelims but there are definately dancers not sticking by these rules and dancing the prelim anyway, how do they get away with it?" on Mon, Mar 10 2025, 17:12:16
