People need to be kind.Stands to reason that the majority of podium dancers are coming from a dance family background. Doesn't mean the child doesn't deserve that place and hasn't worked their butt's of getting there. If anything coming from a family like that there is more pressure more tears. Everything is brought home to the house, doesn't just stop when u walk out of class. And I would also point out that my own daughter dancing u16 hasn't got to the podium in championship but the wee girl that was 1st has worked hard and worked her way up there. And she is an amazing dancer who is a pleasure to watch. I was delighted for her.
