 It has been my experience that injections which really hurt at the time don't leave my bottom too sore afterwards, whereas those that are just pinpricks when getting them can leave me unable to sit down for a day or so. Bending over with pants down waiting for a shot, my initial hope is that it won't hurt too much. After getting relatively painless injections back there, however, I often wish that they had hurt because the worst would be over with no need to fear intense posterior pain later.
