There is no historical evidence for the biblical Jesus,
but even if he did exist, it is the church who deemed him to be a Christian god figure, to suit their own theological purposes.
Such a person would have looked similar to the Palestinians of today - not like the hollywood confection which the racist church is happy to endorse. Presumably it was done to create the image 'just like us' to avoid impossible explanations of their concept of trinity.
