Subject: DCCCLOA Board

I have read some disparaging remarks about the board and their attention to duty or lack their of. I attended the last meeting. My take away is that the board is being cautious concerning actions that can be taken legally and ethically. Someone mentioned suiting the board and another mentioned not paying dues. Both of those courses of action have been executed in the past with unintended consequences resulting in people not wanting to serve on the board and no money to put back into the upkeep of the public areas.

I live in Caney Creek Estates but own property in Downey's on Bluewater. I hope you continue to pay the lot dues and get behind the board or join and become an active member of the board to help improve the neighborhood.
