Subject: Dodge Diplomate roof bracing

I've recently aquired a 1985 Dodge Diplomat Ex-WV state car, my question is this.
During the restoration, I have decided to use a Federal 184 beacon on the roof instead of a lightbar. I had wanted to place the beacon between the front doors, just foward of the existing roof brace. I noticed that this area is fairly weak, and am wondering if there might have been an optional extra roof brace available for the application of a beacon light?
