Subject: Ohio Highway Patrol to change color of their cruisers Author: Dan [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 15:58:35 12/02/02 Mon The Ohio Highway Patrol has anounced the decision to change the color of their cruisers from Charcoal Grey to White. They cited officer saftey as on deciding factor. Two troopers were killed last year from being struck by other vehicles. They also state that the grey color tends to blend in with the road(I live in Ohio,I'll vouch for that), and that they want motorists to be able to see them better. The change is set to start this month, and all new cruisers will be white. Old cruisers will remain grey, and will be sold off when they reach the milage limit.
