a few months ago, just bought a '98 PI, all the gear from Galls and wanted to know what agency he should make it. I recently met a gentleman who drives a fully marked car to & from shows(no pd affiliation) who apparently raised the eyebrow of the locals who held him for several hours and
forced the removal of the fully functional emergency gear & then there's a local one who can't understand why everyone covers the decals and lights to & from shows, he again has no pd credentials and thinks it's his right to drive the car
as is, I wonder if he's figured out that's why no hangs out with him.

Anybody who drives ANY marked non-commissioned 'squad' deserves very close scrutiny if running 'uncovered', yes.......trust me, I used to work in a rural Az motor pool over 10 years ago...........the raised eyebrows that I received when test driving a out of service unit were 'interesting', to say the least lol..........the Dep't here did not believe in covering up the lightbars either...
