Just kinks that will work themselves out with experience. They had 22 contestants so it's going to take a while and the intermissions were 10 minutes no longer. I was there, had a girl in it and this it's our first rodeo with this system. I've been to much bigger messes with less contestants with experienced directors that were worse. My daughter didn't win but had a good time. From what my daughter told me, the delay and first intermission is that a mother helping backstage said the wrong group was first. They recognized it and stopped and regrouped and got things back in order. It wasn't a big deal. Everyone did well and deserved their title. I really enjoyed seeing some of the talents. Harper's was very entertaining, Rosa has a beautiful voice, and I loved the girl who sang the song from Evita, I believe her name was Tara? My daughter was teen, and didn't place and was fine with it. She spoke very highly of who did take home the crowns. My own opinion is that you should really know what happened and why they stopped and restarted. I would have done the same thing to keep from it going out of control. I will say this though... We sat near a group of people who bashed each girl that walked out. Grown adults bashing other young women to other young women and mothers. To those people I say you should be ashamed of yourselves. I was blown away that other adults sat agreeing with this and subject their child to this kind of negativity around them. These people to my knowledge were no way affiliated with the pageant but were there as spectators. What was more sickening is that some of these young ladies partaking in this already have titles. It was a very sad sight to see. But funnier when I saw them congratulating the winners whom they had just drug through the mud. Just my own observation.
