The Miss Kentucky and the MKOT do not allow mothers backstage during the pageant nor other members of the families(hair / makeup). There will be ladies in the dressing room helping the contestants get dressed. It seems as though the contestants should grow accustomed to this as a step toward state.

This is a great way to prepare them for state, which is their ultimate goal. I'd rather do a trial run at a local than Miss KY/MKOT. (NT)No name23:17:28 08/14/13 Wed
