Subject: Another Fun Blooper on the T.V. Series..

I love finding these bloopers, and believe me, it doesn't change my feelings about the show at all. Do any of you remember the Little House Show, when Harriet Oleson didn't like Laura's teaching, and it irritated Laura to the point of quitting, and telling Harriet SHE could have the job if she thought she could do better? Harriet proceeded to teach the kids "Art", and one of the parents of a boy came to her complaining about the kinds of paintings she was allowing them to see, and Harriet defended the paintings, saying they were famous works of Art. One of those paintings was called, "The Bathers", which I am sure most of you have seen before. Well, she defended the nudity, but however, on a different episode, when She took Nellie to Doc Baker(The episode that Nellie Discovered she was pregnant), she was looking at his books in his office and was absolutely appalled that he had books with the anatomy of the human body in them, and told him he shouldn't keep that sort of "reading material" around for the patients, to which he replied that they were his medical books. I guess the writers had so many things going on in their selective writing that they weren't paying as close attention to the demeanors and ideas of the characters as we, the adoring audience was!

Plus, there were probably different writers at different times. But they (or some copy editor) should check on that sort of thing. I read that on I Love Lucy, her middle name was mentioned at least three different times and it was different each time!

I am laughing about Lucy, Ann! But you know, with a maiden name like Magillicuddy(Spelling??), maybe the writers on that show figured that we wouldn't notice the foul up on her middle name! I never caught that tho Ann, and I am thinking that surely I have seen every episode...I still love to catch that show when I am flipping through the channels. Like they say in Baseball.."Good Eye", Ann!

Crack me up on BOTH counts!!! I do remember hearing that Lucy had 3 middle names. I wonder why SHE didn't catch that herself!
