Subject: OT-free recipe collection

We're all friends here, so I hope you don't mind me sharing this with you. If you go to the link below, you'll find a free collection of recipes related to my books for kids and teens, which also includes food-related excerpts from my books. There's some cute clip art which my webmaster-hubby included. Have fun with it, and please feel free to let others know about it. Thanks!

Hi Ann,

I checked out your link, thanks - made my tummy rumble! I especially liked the sound of the Crispy Fried Chicken and Potato Salad Recipes - I must give them a try!

Oh Ann - those look SOOOO good! I am always looking for recipes with little ingredients since I am a horrible cook and now I can try some of yours! Heck - maybe I can fix that spaghetti when you come to visit Brendan and me

Glad you enjoyed Food For Thought! I wanted to use recipes that did not have too many ingredients or directions that went on for paragraphs because 1) those are the kinds that *I* like, 2) since they're related to books for kids and teens, I figure that's what they'd like too 3) it keeps the length of the collection page from getting too long. :)
Jennifer, I will definitely look forward to the spaghetti if I ever get to your neighborhood (which you'll have to remind me where it is, lol!).

I meant to put Anne and Jennifer in the Subject line, not the Name line!

LOL Ann! :-)

I am in sunny San Diego (how easily mothers forget where their famous sons TRUE homes are ). Right now I am a mere 20 minutes or so from Delilah - soon to be 10 :-)

How could I forget???? The brain cells need recharging. Not only does my famous son and wonderful daughter-in-law and Delilah live there, it is a beautiful city as well!

Hi All,
Here's a recipe that seems easy that I learned about last night. Take a box of banana cake mix and mix it with diet sprite. You do not put any eggs or oil in it. Bake it in a 9x13 pan. Mix a box of banana pudding according to instructions on the box. You can use sugar free, fat free pudding or the regular kind. When the cake is cooked and cooled make holes in it and pour the pudding mix over the cake. You may want to pour the pudding over the cake before it thickens. Cut it into squares. Garnish it with a couple of banana slices on each piece. You can also put whipped topping. This makes a cool summer treat.
