Subject: Frontier House Book

I finally finished reading the FH book. It was great. I loved the photographs--almost makes me with I had a log-cabin home (with electricity and indoor plumbing, of course, lol!).
There's more information about the families than what we saw on the show, and with each process the families go through there are corresponding true stories about real pioneers. Very interesting.
One thing that stood out was a comment by Rudy or Nate, I forget which, that people think that was a slower time in the past, but that really you had to work from the moment you got up until the moment you went to bed, so actually the pace was even busier than what most people have today.
Anyway, I highly recommend the book.

The book sounds like a great read! Unfortunately I think I have to wait til it comes out in paperback, for it would end up costing me $45 right now:(
