Hello everyone
My name is Kaye and I wonder if you all might be able to help me. I'm trying to find a series of books that I read 20 plus years ago as a teen. The books are about a family of Swedish immigrants and their immigration to America. The main character's name is Carl Oscar. This is all that I can remember about the books (old age does that to you!!). I'd love to be able to find them and read them again. If any of you might know the title or author of the series could you please post a message for me? Thank you all!

Is it the 'Butter in the Well' series. I haven't read them, but I know they were about Swedish immigrants.

Karl Oscar is a main character in Wilhelm (Vilhelm) Moberg's "The Emigrants" Series: Unto a Good Land, The Emigrants, The Settlers, and The Last Letter Home. Are these the books you're thinking of?
