Thanks for sharing this with us Delilah. My response to this article, and it is only MY feelings about it,--and is not meant to offend anyone here, is that I personally don't care to see the footage of people jumping to their deaths, and the sounds of the screams and the buildings falling. I don't care to see the fear and the grief on the faces of the people directly in the middle of all of the chaos of that tragic day.

I was glued to my TV the day these Terrorists attacked and murdered our citezens, and continued to be obsessed with it for weeks to come. I just couldn't come to terms with this awful tragedy, and am still in awe that it was even possible that it could happen in our great country. I don't think that the families of the victims should have to watch this all over again either... but then of course they can shut the TV's off. I just feel like this would be adding salt to very deep wounds. Like I said.... only my opinion.

I too watched for days when it actually happened and don't want to see it again. However, this is a record of what happened right from the beginning and it should be preserved. For people who did not see what happened at the time (because of work, school, whatever) they might want to watch at least part of it (I should add I averted my eyes when people were falling/jumping out of buildings, I could not watch that), just to see what it was really like. Short clips or written articles just can't convey the shock and horror of it all. While I don't think we should obsess about it, I think we should "never forget" either.
Through the horror there were also scenes of hope, bravery and a coming together that were inspiring.
