Dyone it. I shouldn't have said that. she thinks. Noni's eyes now reveal all, whether she is telepathing or not. I seem to have poked at several old wounds and some new.

"I did smell him," she adds in response to his other comment."I think. Very dominant, very angry, and very red sounds about right... An entire pack gone."
She curls her tail around her as though suddenly cold, gazing into the fire and letting the etched surface of her blade reflect the flickering flames. The triumphant warrioress she has drawn amid the northern rocks seems to blink, but it is only a trick of the light. In a very quiet voice, Noni says, "He will perish, then."
