Subject: The season ender

After sleeping on it, I am okay with the episode, kinda knew what was coming at the end.

I think if you take 'Still' out of the season and leave with what we have had you can see the pattern of Castle backing off all the way back to Hunt. Its minor but its there that he is slowly taking her for granted and that she has started things. Castles brithday being the one big thing she did for him that he showed appreciation for.

I think the final she stepped back and decided to look at her life and ponder where she wanted to go at 33. She knows her moms killer, she has reached a point in her job that she is maxing out at unless she promotes up and loses the part of the job she loves, she has a man in her life that she loves but he isnt showing interest in more. She reverts back to the part of her that she understands and knows. The closed off Beckett. I did like that she went to her girlfriend and dad for advice. Both gave her opinions and at the end of the day she went with the one that has always been there, the Job. Castle has been there but her job has been there longer.

At least Castle said he would follow her and that he wants more. I see her not saying no, but not yet and as a JAG fan I HATE THAT. I think that they will take a step back and then by mid season commit and be a stronger pair. At least that is how I would write it.

And I love Martha.
