I (Levi) wish my parents would be a lot more specific about what they say. But, all we ever hear is that they are proud of us, we are doing good and so on. I am sure that more comes out than that, but we are not told! I think that is weird, don't you? Ivy, my Dad wonders why you are dreading this, and why you think it could turn out horribly? He doesn't know why you'd feel this way, because you are such a good student. And, you know what? None of us get it, either. What's wrong? In my case, the teachers requested it. They probably do say more in the conferences. I remember one year my dad went to my conference because my mom was busy and he came back saying that my teacher preferred the American League over the National League in baseball, which is really strange because we live in National League territory. I don't think they could go on for hours just talking about students, though, without getting off track at least once. I'm dreading it because, as I mention, the teachers requested it. I am a good student academic-wise and behavior-wise, but school bores me. I don't know why they requested it, though. It might be because I argue a lot - especially with certain teachers. Or, some of the things I pulled in the past few week, whether pranks, things I wrote or said, are questionable. English teachers I had in the past called me blunt. Those are my hypotheses.
