Up until right after I turned 14 I could not control crying in regards to a spanking. As soon as I was "sentenced" I would turn on the water works. The crying would start before I was in position or before a single lick had fallen.

I worked on this and got to where I could wait until the first lick was given. I then was able to make it to at least three or four before the water works started. I figured I was just getting older and was doing a better job of accepting the spanking.

Well, a week ago Wednesday, things were different. I knew I was in for a serious session with the paddle. Up until this point, my sessions with the paddle, while no walk in the park, had not been on the "serious" level. I did not know what to expect and I was, frankly, scared. I did good through the discussion and the "sentence" (which I was expecting) but as I was getting into position, I just lost it and started bawling, again, before the first lick had been given.

Dad or Mom never seem to have an opinion about my crying as to when or if I do it. It also never deters them from the task at hand.

What are your experiences with crying and spanking - either your own or your kids'?

Hi PJ, I'm Ryan and I just turned 12 in Jan. That's when my parents decided to use a paddle instead of hand spankings. I really hate the paddle but I still get spanked a lot. Guess it would be more if I didn't get the paddle since I do try to avoid it. I always cry to but not until the paddling starts. I understand that though, I probably would too but my parents say I'm making to much of a big deal and spank harder. So I know better than to do that and have to try hard not to.

What's a serious session? I usually get 12 swats since that's my age but sometimes more depending.

I like all sports basically, but like playing football mostly. I also like to snowboard and waterski.

A paddle does too but then it hurts deep down in the muscle. I have only been able to make it through shorter mild spankings without crying. Anything over three and I am sobbing. But, if the ping-pong paddle or a belt is going to be used to spank us, we cry when it comes in the room. No way to avoid crying all the way through any spanking. That would be impossible. I am not real familiar with this paddle yet since it has only been in use since October.

I typically have only earned anywhere from 2 to 8 with it. 2 hurt and 8 killed and I knew this would be more than 8.

My 'sentence' ended up being 16. I think that may have been part of the reason that "I lost it."

But after 10, I did something I have not done in years - I asked Dad to stop. I could not believe how much it was hurting! Normally Dad just ignores these requests and keeps on spanking until I "have been sufficiently punished." This time Dad listened and he stopped at 12. He suspended the other 4 pending no more issues. I appreciated the concession even though I did earn those last 4 two days later for "not fully disclosing all of the details" of my speeding. But at least it was not all 16 at one time.

That's really cool that your dad listened and stopped paddling. I guess since you hadn't done that in so long he could know you needed him to stop.

No wonder you lost it, 16 is a lot! The paddle hurts so much that any number is bad. I really hate the paddle but I still get spanked a lot, just not as much as before they started using the paddle in Jan.
