I have a suggestion that may "save you a grounding" next time- don't leave your clothes on the bathroom floor. Then, I will guess that you were disrespectful and talking back to your Mom while at breakfast when she was talking about your leaving your clothes on the floor.

Let me tell you how you might handle this the next time she is "in one of those moods," Chris. Try apologizing instead of being disrespectful and talking back! You might even give her a hug and a kiss after the apology! It's kind of like that old expression about getting more with honey than anything else. It might be better than getting paddled.

Hi everyone! and thanks for all your messages. I am REALLY glad this weekend is over and I'm not grounded no more. I miss the computer when I'm grounded too! When I get grounded, I just have to stay in my room and I can't watch TV or the computer. Pretty boring! I have early bedtime while I'm grounded too. I hate going to bed when its still light outside, but Mom makes me so I hope I don't get grounded again.

I'm glad to get to know all you on here. This is a cool site!
