They truly prep their girls to the extreme and give them support. This year it was no joke for the miss end as the quality wasn’t really high and knew those two would easily do very well. In there teen category they did very well again as they had the 1st runner up who’s amazing! I just think the teens had wayy more competition as everyone in the teen top 5 had great talents. I think some of the placement could’ve been shifted around for teens but miss was spot on! -- Pageant Guru Message Board

Funny side note: the new state teen winner Aryana Guest competed at the Arlington/Loudoun County local and she lost to both titleholders, then came to Miss VA and beat them both. (NT) Different day/different judges.

Seen this a hundred times. What can win a girl a local is different than what it takes to win a state competition. In locals, a girl can have a hometown advantage or do better with less experienced judges. Sometimes seasoned girls dial it in at locals, just to pick up a crown to go to state.
