You are correct, IG no longer shows when a post is edited but when it is cross posted with FB, you can still see the edits, just like when you delete from IG, it will remain on fb (NT) No name

That is if the post is cross posted. And if it is, the poster can edit the FB post or delete/repost. Either way, her post was either edited or deleted/reposted - it was up long enough for too many of us to see it to dispute it.
