Subject: Not knocking married women, but USA needs to eliminate married women competing. I think they felt it would increase numbers/popularity but it seems most states dropped in numbers. I also blame the bad publicity, lack of prize package and no appearances on the downfall. Doubtful a married women will ever win Miss USA and they have multiple pageants for marrieds to compete in. Just silly. And to be honest, Delaware had no competition this year. It was sad.

Why would anyone in their right mind wish to participate in Miss USA considering what we know about Laylah's failed directorship? I feel sorry for Alma but thanks to her, everything is public knowledge now. No future Miss USA will be getting sympathy from me. These women should know better. (NT)Dee Hagen

Yes adding married and mothers is a big mistake IDK the ages of the state winners but if everyone else is 30 years old and below Delaware is going to feel out of place (NT)No name

Laylah is a figure head director with all decisions being made out of Mexico City, The Miss winner's daughter also competed for the teen title so perhaps it was a mother/daughter bonding experience. Delaware also has a history of crowning outside the box winners with a teen with Downs Syndrome winning last year. There was a reason why Alma clapped at MU and will leave it at that....
