So Miss Metropolitan did something I've never seen a girl do. It was actually quite clever, but not sure the judges will be pleased. Her onstage topic was Reproductive Rights. She launched into her battle with endometriosis and didn't mention abortion at all (NT)No name

Just want to also say that I watch many, many state pageants. I've watched 7 or 8 this year alone. Miss NY is, by far, the worst production I've ever seen. The MCs (former Miss NYs) aren't great, but even worse is the horrible stage. It's completely black, you can't see anything. You could barely see what their on stage topic was. The opening number was incredibly low energy. I've seriously seen high school productions that were more professionally done. I'm very sad for NY. A state that should have no problem finding good production talent. It should also be noted that Miss NY only has 23 girls. This is less than the majority of states, including Miss NH. What is happening in NY? (NT)No name

This is nothing new. Production has been bad for years. 23 is a lot for NY. Listen for scholarship amounts. They don’t announce them usually because they are so embarrassing. Yet, they hold loads of fundraisers. Where does that $ go? (NT)No name

Talent now. So far, Miss Five Boroughs Cassie Donegan is leading on my score sheet. Only watched the first 5 though. They're not even doing talent intros. They're just introducing the girl, no intro into what she's doing or anything. It's truly amateur hour (NT)No name

City of Dreams just took the lead in talent. She played the violin while dancing en pointe. But I'm not clear on if she had backup music on while she was playing? (NT)No name

I am surprised NY wanted to livestream. Now the world knows what the state has known for years. This production is a mess (NT)No name

It's really a shame they didn't give Miss Metropolitan a lav mic. Her voice wasn't a 10, but her stage presence and overall performance was very good, very musical theatery (NT)No name

Does NY have a walking coach for all the girls? If so, they need to fire that person. Every single girl but 2 are doing this bizarre walk in gown where they're pushing out their bellies and slinking across stage. Looks very weird (NT)No name

Good grief - calling this production a mess is an understatement. Also, I’m confused, is this also teen? Do they bring out teens next? At this stage it’s neck / neck Cassie, Mina or Serena. Prob Cassie (NT)No name

So the auditors didn't have winners. So they filled. Then they finally say they're ready and the auditors didn't have non-finalist awards. So now back to fill. Its seriously painful (NT)No name

Wow I really can’t imagine not taking Cassie to Miss America….. she truly was the best one up there for the job and was the overall talent winner. The violin and pointe dance isn’t technically nor entertaining but I digress. I have also heard Mina is not a kind person this year with the girls as the reactions show… (NT)No name

Mina Liang, Miss City of Dreams is the new Miss New York 2025. She's a Wall Street banker. Her talent was violin and ballet en pointe. First Chinese-American Miss NY. NGL, I wanted Lauren or Cassie, but this girl could be Miss America (NT)No name
