I see Robin and the MAO account have posted that the lottery is tonight. How is that possible when Miss PR has not been selected? Will their board pick the spot? I am confused. I also wish they went back to it not just being the order for interviews and talent.

Lotteries have been done over the years with state titleholders yet to be named. This is nothing new. It's what has to happen given the timing of the national competition. MAO HQ has already told states that they need to have their 2026 competitions completed by an earlier date to allow for the quick turn around. (NT) No name

I mean, maybe in very recent years. It used to be a big deal though. Girls would have pictures taken of themselves and their team at the computer ready to be called for the lottery.
