If they wanted a southern pageant they should have just made it a southern pageant. Not to mention they want models and not girls looking to help others. If they wanted to go back to the roots of pageantry to change the world they should be looking for girls who are genuine with a great platform, not girls who just care about being models. Also using Noelia as an ambassador was an odd choice considering she was never crowned by RPM and had to move states to go to USA. I thought it was wonderful how Noelia and the former Teen were given the attention they deserved after their resignations. A lovely gesture IMO. No shame in calling it a beauty pageant. With all the gimmicks of MAO and downward spiral of USA, it's refreshing to me to see this system take off and be transparent about the type of girls they are looking for. That nearly toppled USA, again, resulting in a huge loss of dollars for USA. It was a publicity nightmare for USA.
