Subject: It actually seems a little weird that the winners in 1970 & 1971 have just died recently in the same time span as the winners from 1942 and 1948.

Not only did Bebe live to 95, but she was only 18 when she won Miss America. She literally graduated from high school and won Miss Minnesota and went to Miss America. Some of the winners from the 70's were already in their 20's when they won Miss America. (NT)No name
