Subject: I judged a pageant that had various age divisions toddler thru teen. The scoring was on a 1 to 10 scale but the director told us not to score anyone below a 5. How can you judge fairly when your arm is twisted like that?!? What did you accomplish by giving someone a 1 or 2 or 4 when giving them a 5 or 6 wouldn't have changed the result of who won. A 5 or 6 would have encouraged them to come back and work harder. Some "judges" shouldn't be asked back because the "power" goes to their head haha You aren't on a jury deciding the fate of the world, you are simply being asked to give your opinion about children in a pageant.
