Subject: I certainly think she was well on her way to winning until Leanza totally disarmed the entire audience and judges in the last discussion with Regis. I think Leanza herself was shocked.

    I am not sure who is agreeing with who on this one, but Leanza deserved that win. She rocked that interview segment and her talent selection was awesome. It was a new song to most of the world at the time but if you listen to a few times it really grabs you. i will grant you that Catherine had one of the most powerful voices we have heard but Leanza had the total package.
